Eq Wipe and smobs

Since we're going to be having this eq wipe..why not give the imms some tips on how to change smob loads so the players can't abuse them for easy equipment. If we want this mud to succeed we're going to have to have a good balance of equipment after the eq wipe. So...let us (the players) give you (the imms) some tips on how to change % loads, etc so that the mud won't be flooded with free equipment.

I'm sure TONS of you guys know tons of secrets on how to get easy equipment off of smobs..lets give up those secrets now..we want this mud to succeed. And don't want to have another eq wipe in the future because of all of the equipment floating around again.

Spymaster: First off...if you're a human you can 'k spy' and spymaster will assist you. Therefor making spymaster face off against his 4 spy's. The Spymaster ends up dying and the human can easily not even be in the room while the master dies. Then goes in...loots the eq and gets out of there.

For trolls..this smob is easily done with 2 trolls...why not make the spy's no stab? Or if not..then lower the immense axe load %. Because atm..an immense axe is a powerful weapon..after eq wipe, no one will be running around in -full- sets..Therefor, an immense axe will be sick, bashing everything. Also, remove the 50k load on Spymaster. If we're going to have the eq wipe..why not have a money change to. Give value to money.

Don't load newbs with 500 coins anymore, and other smobs/mobs..reduce the amount of coins they load.

Malandric: I've seen people solo malan with flee hitting. Perhaps make malandric have a little more defense? Or...have her close door when people enter.

Let me finish this later, I gotta run.

Knight NE of keep, SOLOABLE by anything.. Flee hitting his cronies dead then fighting him solo...100% soloable.

Aiel Channie is soloable by one channeler. Just air scythe the mobs dead. Then channel the aiel warrior dead on his own.

Raken smob is easily soloed by a stabby channie.
HL can be done solo on a channie (if you take your time), it's much easier with 2 people though.

However I don't really see the problem with soloable smobs on a mud that can have a pretty low number of players at certain times. Instead just lower/remove loads on the smobs.

flee lag is a little low, can hit/flee, stab/flee, channel/flee most things. Doesn't need much but a wee bit more would be good.
Knight's minions have a little low hps, is why that one is so easily hit fled, is how a smob should be though, possible to be done with perseverance and a bit of time.

Abs needs to factor against the stabbing roll, it makes the pracs for such a high damage attack too easy.(channies, stabbing bashers)

I wouldn't say easily, it takes me close to an hour sometimes to solo Doon.

seems that would take a really long time to regen sps... plus you are going to get hit by emote fireballs each time you enter room

with a stabber channie though it could be soloable

Nope, using a staff...I was able to solo aiel. Release source at ticks, and sometimes sleep at ticks if I'm not engaged. Aiel Channeler only fireballs -sometimes-, other times he bashes. And you don't flee hit him, You just go in, flee air scythe or air scythe between rounds, the mobs. Then do him 1 on 1. Release source at ticks.

1. Go into Aiel and type "bash". He'll summon a new dust figure, but he engages one figure while the others seem to target the new one. Thus any basher can destroy all of his mobs...

2. Flee

3. Repeat until you have him solo. Proceed to whup some Aiel ass.

the entire idea of making smob harder than what they are is humorous, down their load but forcing the few players we have to wait for large groups in order to smob will kill what few players we have left.

you have to leave soloable smobbing as an option, half the time I'm online I am all alone, dont force players who are alone without pk to quit because of absolutely nothing to do!

i think if more smobs were entered into the game it would be cool. make like mid eq really easy to get. and make it on those soloable smobs they -can- load good things but not often at all. then make kind of hard smobs that can't be soloed that take like 4-6 people to hit that almost always load at least one topend trinkets or weapon or something.

I agree with that to an extent, but I think buggy smobs should be fixed. Its very un RP like to have the spymaster attack his own spy's. Or For the Aiel Channie to kill his own aiel minions, those problems need to be fixed. And thats one of the reasons we're posting here. It's the imms choice if they wish to make smobs soloable or not, or which ones. But, bugged smobs need to be taken care of anyway, so post them.
