Resting stabs

Dont know if its meant to be this way or what 
but I noticed I clumsied on two seperate occasions on unsuspecting resting humans.. so then me and zanril did a little test and I clumsied 5 to 6 times on him resting then finally blicked him 
but anyways.. shouldnt you land about 100% on resting people?
