Horse loads are out of control. Yesterday, I killed 2 horses in blight, 3 in gap, 5 n of FD, and spammed by 8 more warhorses in TV in a space of 15 minutes.. the ones in Tv were just sitting there. I believe the problem is that people are taking all the horses out of the stables and leaving them in random rooms, so that when zone pop occurs the full load of horses comes back. Whether its intentional or not, its rather unfair. We tried to trap Vurek in Gap two days ago while he was dismounted. Our tactic was to kill his remounts so he couldnt run. We killed four of them, and the one we didnt find got him to safety. One person has four remounts in gap? Its plain unbalanced.

i dont think they are out of control at all really. Most load in the south so people have to go get them. They die very easily and very often. A human who is all south gap can't even make it to FD in 1 tic on most occasions without a horse. Besides which, I think 50 mvs a tic is a great counter to any horse. Having played both sides, I would say moving around is harder on lightside than it is on dark, unless you channel regen.

Yea you passed probably all the horses the humans have.. Whenever there is 5+ humans on there are almost never any horses. Also, humans need that many if not more because I have had 4 horses stabbed out from under me in the past 2 days. Thats a little much considering that if they are anywhere n of Gpat then they are dead unless they have a vial.

1) the reason you found extra horses laying around cities is because people rent and don't exactly put them back into their loading rooms. also people like to switch horses especially in tv cause tv usually has the horses loaded.

2) when there is 1 human that decided to bring up 5 horses what does it matter? he'd have to go to at least 2 cities to get that much and if there were anyother humans on he'd have to share. don't blame horse loads on people being prepared for tactics that have been used ALOT recently.

3) imo osis before you say anything about horseloads pk on ls when there are more than 5 people. you need 5 horses to cover that many people(which coincidentally is the same amount that 1 human brought up) with trollocs killing horses indiscriminately (i've actually gotten away from pk because trolls would rather kill my horse then kill me so good pk tactic ditch the horse trolls love horses.) you need even more horses to cover the people.

4) check horseloads again osis. for one imo they upped city repop time so it takes even longer for horses to load. i've never really seen the new load of hosres intact inside fd that's why i say that. i'm guessing there are 3 whites and 1 warhorse loads in fd 2 warhorses load in tv 1 on tv road and 2 warhorses in caemlyn 1-2 whites 2 warhorses and 2 whites in lugard. if you don't go south to get horses there is chance you could be stuck on a gray which has about 50 max moves and regens about 10 a tick.

In FD alone there are 2 warhorses, 4-5 whites and maybe half a gray or something. That's not including the 3-4 grays that loaded a few rooms from it.

Oh, yeah, and with repop on those loads, you'll need 12 humans on right after a crash to be stuck without a horse

In fal dara? Firstly if you are stuck gap or more north and there was PK, chances are they chase you hag and you are dead (hasn't happened to me cuz I'm smart enough to not log back on). There are 2 gray loads, and gray's are like the dun mare of WotMud. There are three whites which are usually killed really quick or used. There are two warhorses which are also taken quickly. If only two or three people are on, than I guess there are enough horses. If five people are on, and two are okay with shit gray's, then it get's a little tight. Especially then as the horses get stabbed or forced to be dismounted if one needs to run in.

Horses get killed more and quicker than people do, and saying oh three load in Tar Valon isn't so huge. Why is it so bad that people have horses? I've never seen any trouble killing the low guy in Fal Dara. Without horses people are just going to sit in Tar Valon or Caemlyn because Fal Dara and northern PK will be worthless. Human moves really suck.

No. they don't. I have a ls stabber. I don't have THAT much of a problem with mv. And with human moves you can still get from mid gap to fd if you don't have shit mv.

Note: Humans have 2 horse loads in fd. In the 2 stables. The point with the 3 warhorses in tv is that they are easily led to FD. So there you have another 3 warhorses there.

That's all I have time for. I'd start saying how horses aren't that easy to kill, and besides, it crashes the mud if you stab a ridden horse. I'd also mention how you say that there are 5 normal horses, and then say that if there are 5 people and 2 are okay with grays, it gets a little tight. where's the sense in that?

I have no problem with mvs as any of my humans..I can get my human abser from blight to fd easily without a horse because i know of a few loads, and having remounts is easy..U can lead several horses up to gap drop them in random spots and let the fun ensue...I have more trouble on my trolls moving around because warhorses are plain nasty.

hmm... well when trolls purposely stab horses from under you to crash mud making you lose all your remounts too plus the only load from blight to fd is a gray stallion which doesn't always load i think it's a % to load inside outpost which gray stallions are practically worthless i'd go out of gap to get a gray and end up hagging before getting back to gap (i know i'm exaggerating but the 10+ rooms from gap to horse load isn't worth it plus the fact that you could be spammed inside outpost when you get there.

Hrm. I have that log somewhere. I actually had stashed 2 horses, but being as many ppl were on ls, I did not take any fd, I found them in random spots, and basically remembered where they were.

It was mere happenstance that i misspammed on that horse. And if the only way you can kill me is hagg then...damn thats boring.

I have channie hps and warrior mvs. And I'm a thief, go figure?

Horses are fine, it's a pain in the ass half the time, hell the last couple times i pk with 5+ humans on I'm dismounted with no horse. I think people started to think I was a wb or something. Ah the irony. Eat my 123 mvs in full dodge!

gray stallions are obsolete. if you played ls you would know this. gray stallions have about 75(or lower) max moves and regen about 20 moves a tick. so you're going like 10 rooms before hagging. no way am i fighting a troll with 200+ moves and 50+ moves a tick on a gray stallion. especially how easy they are to kill.
