I've been getting unengaged kicked recently this has got to be a bug correct? a pc attacks a mob then targets me with the kick and i get kicked unengaged.

Road to Fal Dara
As you move along down the dusty road to Fal Dara, you notice that there is a
smalle glade to the north of you. To the north-east Tarwin's Gap awaits you
soon. The heat from the sun makes you drys your tounge quickly. But it seldom
rains on this long and dusty road. The sun is beating down on you, makes you
weary and confused. You look around to see if there might be a place for you
to stop, and get a nice drink of water.

looks like its the same with other things like bash and such, if your engaged onto a mob you can spam bash human/trolloc and it will bash them while engaged

the problem he's meaning is in the fact can kick when NOT engaged.

Bash you can not start a bash on someone not engaged on you while engaged on someone else.

kick has always been like that, thats basicly the only reason most people practise kick...

i dont think this is a bug, its most likely a feature.

Its alsp a realistic feature, you can always kick another person who you arnt fighting in real life.

That's true, but you would leave yourself wide open to the attacks from the main person you're fighting.. I think it would be more realistic if this kind of targeting came with some sort of defence malus while doing it..

Oh, and on a similar note.. I'm currently re-reading the series yet again, and came upon a bit in the 3rd book that might be of some use in balancing the channelers here..

It's when Lan, Perrin, Loial, Faile and Moiraine were fighting the Gray Men in Illian..

"From the corner of his eye he saw Moiraine standing to one side, frustration on her face; they were all so mixed together that she could do nothing without endangering friend as well as foe."

I think that the more people involved in a battle, the lower the chance a channeler has in succesfully targeting someone with a weave.
