I was fighting dobry and zarth for about 10 min, doing fine so far.

then ...

ntersection Between the Roads
The long road to the south meets up with a four way intersection, three
directions which lead to an extention of the road. The city of Fal Dara and
it's western gates are clearly in view from this point just to the east. The
west leads to a smaller road which looks more like a path than a road, while
the south leads to a road much like here.

A tall white stallion is standing here.

A Dusty Road
The sky is in clear view from this point, as no trees block the way of the road
that heads north and west, creating an abrupt twist for travelers. The stone
paved road is especially covered with dust at this one point, and looks to have
not been cleaned for some time as well.

A tall white stallion is standing here.
A small deer is here watching over herself.
You flee head over heels.

as you can see I charged him at batt, when I charge a person at batt I expect him to be death. even 450 hps chars. my charge did like 100 hps max damage that's a little too low I think.

zarth fell later that day. grin

To little? Considering charge has a stupid timer, and lands almost 95%, that's what should be

timer

You can always see a charge comming and it's piss easy to type k dark/human when you see it

charging is an art and it's as hard as stab and I think more people die of stabs then from charges.

Charging is not that easy, I admit, but it's much easier than stab. Trust me. When I was charge (back in the days when charge never landed) I pulled it off quite alot. All you need the person to have is 1 second of lag, a typo, or just get lucky with timer.

Charge on a human is that much easier, because 3/4 of DS are stab. And in 90% of the fights between a staber and a charger (a staber and a charger of the same amount of skill) the charger will win.

Fucking sungwood bashing my 133 db. Load of BS. If you died (didn't read log, heard you did later) you deserved it. And Zarth did a good job, DTing those spears :)

That's a bad roll, all 3 charges that have landed on me were for over 320 hps. One was from a level 23 with a maplewood spear, the other two from Sailuan with a heavy steel spear.

As for getting off charges, its really not that hard. I have no trouble at all getting them off on my charger or skewerer.

charge and stab both have their bad times. stab can be better because if they don't know you are there they are dead. stabbing humans they need to keep notice on ruining their moves a lot of the time. trolls that skewer have the advantage that it doesn't appear as *name* when you skewer and you can combine it with sneak. i agree easier to get a charge off then a stab if your opponent knows you are there. but still it's very very rare that people screw up and get charged. the best time to charge is to send them a msg on an IM make sure they are replying then charge. its the best. :P
