Perma no-quit?!

The mud crashed while my statter had no-quit from killing a deer. I've been standing around for the past quarter hour waiting for it to go away... and no such luck.

Can someone PLEASE help me out with this?

Edit: I've stood around long enough to get the hungry/thirsty messages a few times, and I'm still standing there. This is from being full, to a few tics past hungry/thirsty. Now, I would be seriously pissed to get perma-noquit if I was on one of my already statted chars. Since it's a statter, I'll just go rip, collect my eq, and rent.

Just for the love of god, fix this so that we can pk without fear of crashes giving us perma-noquit.

Impatience over events which:

A. We did not know of
B. Many lack time to fix
C. I have no way of coding, therefore have no way of fixing

Only lowers my desire to help. I am incapable of fixing any code as my OS completely screwed up and I now have to wait to get a new version. While I thank you for posting, demanding only irritates me and adds to the pressure and load of what troubles are already occuring.

Lastly, it is very rude to assume that it is some simple bug that can be fixed with the snap of our fingers.

Sorry about the way I phrased it.

It's no biggie to me, since I was just on a statter this time, but my main concern is for the well-being of PKers. When you have RL issues that require you to rent, and you can't because of a bug, that sucks ass. :P Most especially when you can't go to a safe spot to leave your eq, or find someone to hold it for you.

So again, I apologize for sounding hasty, I'm just very concerned about it.

dying should get rid of no-quit at least, problem solved.

I think this is caused by the same bug which makes sneak, notice, agility, etc permanent. But I find that not only dying, but engaging something also fixes this one. The engaging gives you a new set of no quit, which for some reason overrides the bugged no quit.

Any idea what causes this? I just got my OS working again, and should now be able to fix all these horid bugs.

I believe renting or crashing with an effect makes the effect permanent.

...And this bug should be squashed as of last night's reboot.
