Charge

the timer seems too short in comparison to stab, which they are both 1hit kills, but charge, you can just rush it, press a button, and in 2 seconds, kill someone, where stab, you have to try to come in unseen, stay hidden, and wait 4-5ish seconds before yours lands, with you not mounted, and the charger gets to run away on a horse if he misses his.

so i say either lower the stab timer or raise the charge timer

or just make it so you can kill someone who is engaged, assuming you yourself, arent.

That would make charging/stabbing way too overpowered :)

i meant only for stab :|

but imo charge's timer is OP compared to stabs

its harder to land the hit while people are looking for you with notice on, to try to kill you, stabbing, then it is charging since its like, 4x the timer length

I would say they are similar, maybe charge is a little easier. This is because you can quite easily see and stop a charge every time (with no lag), while you don't always see a stab timer. Plus while stab timer is longer it also gives the target more time to walk back into the timer, while charge is usually pretty easy to miss because it is so short.

example 1...

*thief sneaks in on a person*
*hides and starts stab timer*
*-._.-*-

*wperson notices him*
*person charges*
*-._.-*-._.
vs
*-.
*thief gets split in half*

example 2...
*thief sneaks in on a person*
*thief starts stab timer*
*-._.-*-._. (one thing away from stab, the guys unlucky apparently)
*person notices and attacks*
You cant do that, your fighting for your life!
*thief is auto-bashed for two rounds*...
*person turns out to be a channie and started a call lightning for instance, when he attacked*
*thief gets struck by lightning*
*person starts a bash(another thing ive noticed)*
*panics and attempts to flee* (on thiefs screen, this one didnt fail)
*thief gets bashed as he succeeds a flee, but it didnt flee*
*person starts another lightning timer*
*thief gets struck by lightning
(probably batt-beaten by now)

Some inconsitancies: You aren't "auto-bashed" when someone catches you mid timer and engages. Charges rarely do more than 300 dmg unless it is a master weapon.

really? cuz my thief who had 400 hp was onehit by someone without a master... explain?

If you were charged for 400 hps, you had the worst luck in the world. There's only one weapon that can charge for 400 damage, and it has less than a 1% chance of doing so
