rp enforcement

Okay I didnt die to some lame lack of rp so this isn't a pdw but an unbiased and objective pov.

I'd like to see rp enforced a little, if we want to see this mud thrive then we need rpers and adventurers, a lack of any rp and any rp enforcement discourages rpers from staying here, I am amazed trystianna is still here. Give her some qps for her role play already please, she might have a misguided sense of rp but she is trying.

Also mcs grouping with and channeling in front of AS, BG's, and other justice clans needs to stop. Warrant mcs if they get outted, channies are already sick as hell, only high ranking AS, and members of another cetain channie clan should have access to half the weaves available, this also should go for the DG clan on ds.

Make clanning a perk and lets enforce rp, I'd also like to see new players awarded qps for exploring new zones as well.

Trysstianna has been taken good care of Evilina. Just not everything is made public.

I can see the point - and I could see it also when Bhark made it.

However really is that at peak times LS is often outgunned, and ds have alot of channies also.

And most ls are clanned or applying for clans.

Plus mc's don't taint here. This is more like an alternate universe to wot with a different timeline.

However, being wanted isn't that bad.

The only problems I have with going down this path is we'll end up exactly like wotmud...and that's pretty much why we're all here: we got sick of wotmud.

In my opinion, the player base is still too small to start having LS rip each other apart as well as try to fend off DS.

However, I agree that RP is way out of whack and at least some ground rules should be laid down.

One way of looking at it is the players represent the heros of the wheel of time. As such they would often have strong views pro or against Taim and his ilk, and many of the heros would be in the know as to the rise of the Dark One and believe that the mc's are are nessaary evil, or else they are focused on the destruction of the mc's.

Another way is that the players are merely ordinary men and woman from the wheel of time. As such a single member of a given clan would follow any mc's commands out of fear. Even the Aes Sedi wouldn't attack a single mc unless they had 13 Sisters.

And in an attack by hordes of trollocs on a city things often get missed and mc's could easily disguise their appearance and slip away during the ensuing chaos and destruction.

I will try to not channel around ls clans as much as poss, although that will mean alot of the time I have to pk on alt as even 1 v 2 is not feasable most of the time, and im not exactly an uber pkiller.

Theres no way ls would be able to even put up a fight if this happened. I want to do it and have thought many times how to end flagrant mc channeling in BG areas, but honestly there is no way without straight warrants.

With almost everyone playing channelers, pk has become a joke. Theres no way to stand up against the daily 3-5 dgs on ds vs solo humans (if ones clanned and others mcs)

When Aes Sedai are finally allowed, we will be hunting male channelers. But during times of cross-race PK we will likely be pretty lenient about this unless the number of dreadguards dies down a bit.

Even if their not hunting MC's yet, i'd atleast like to see people more incharacter, maybe give the rpers a small reward or something to boost the amount of people rping

If we do this we might as well make dreadguards have to ride horses as well. I'm tired of seeing trolloc channelers. They should be same as humans. Can't see in dark and have to prac ride and everything.

nod at Sonea...even though I don't like it personally, I agree with you.

agree with sonea, dreadguards ARE HUMANS that channel but work for the dark one

I agree Sonea, I've suggested such several times but haven't gotten very positive responses...

RPishly I see DG's as darkfriend humans that can channel... and thus can't run as hard as a horse like trollocs or have super strength like trollocs, and should be kept to the same parameters as human channies.

yeah more horse loads up north, that's not what we need. :P

Just lessen dg's mvs to maybe 200 and make them get night vison, also lessen the pracs, its not balanced that ls channies have to prac ride and night vison while ds doesn't, which means we get more prac points to invest in offensive and defensive skills which puts ls and ls channies at an automatic disadvantage.

I play a dg and an ls channie so my pov is extremenly un biased.

They can be crappy versions of shadow stallions... IE DS only but similar to warhorses and whites etc.

not even sure what you mean sonea but any horse load blight or n of it is pretty damn hand holding. Trolls dont hide and load a fresh set of mvs unlike horse hoppers.

I don't care for the dg only horses, dgs will get the same ride ob boost and same def malus as humans, keep them a lil unique.

It seems to me that they are unique in the fact that they are on DS and they can channel. The could simply not exist like previous channeler systems.

Everything RPishly in my mind says DGs are humans...
