So this time I'm just minding my own business outside Keep, and suddenly I get hit by 3 guys. Now I'm fine with getting hit by 3 guys, but the thing that made me wonder was one of those guys was a channeler AND a member of CoL. The other was QG and the third isn't quite important he was clanless.

So it got me thinking, since mc's are all bad and such, shouldn't channeling infront of a big justice clan, let's say QG, have some sort of side-effects? Or are we in the 'mc's aren't dangerous yet' phase?

Once again I'm just wondering, not bashing anyone and not calling names either.

kk, if a child of the light, see's ANYONE who's able to channel, for rp purposes and clan purposes in game, it should be absolute hell for the channeler until they either A) Run from the child, or B) Kill the idiot.

but they shouldnt be grouped together fighting people. children = hate everyone, even their mother, assuming she baked that cookie... THAT THE DARK FRIEND ATE!!!!... she's supporting darkfriends, we have to execute her.

An even funnier thing happened actually, that same guy (still not calling names) somehow grouped up with an fc, not just any fc, a 'White Tower' fc.
Now I know from having read the books, and just general knowledge that Children of Light *hate* channelers and the Tower. And the Tower *hates* them and male channelers. Seriously, am I missing something here?

Actually the guy I'm talking about a bit mentally retarded so I'm not allowed to call his name for his own sake, so please don't ask me that. But I think it's pretty clear to the both of us.

A few things.

First off, let's not call each other names, directly or indirectly. This is not wotmad.

Second, male channelers do not taint as of yet, so there is no real reason to fear them.

Third, there are quite a few immortals who would like to see better roleplaying here, so please don't decide to rp foolish things, like a male damane or a Forsaken or an Aiel Companion.

He would have to be mentally retarded to impersonate a Child of the Light, for which the penatly is death!

It's a shame that, being a spawn of the Dark One who doesn't speak the New Tongue, you can't write to my superior with the information you have hinted at.

Also, rather unfortuntaly, I am not able to send people into the Blight to take witness statments. The few half-crazed survivers we got back last time forgot to bring any paperwork back with them.

This isn't wotmud. If we don't have eq returns of gear that you don't need or want there isn't going to be any pk. Obviously eq you need if a different matter.

I've given out a set of abs to both ls and ds yesterday, and I will help anyone on either side smob for gear if theres an overall shortage.

I think you both know now that the attitude you gave me and Skeeve the other day about returning the bits of eq you didn't need was slightly short-sighted seeing as ive been on about 10 kills on each of you since then.

I think both sides of this argument have valid point but as this isn't that other mud we have to do things a little differenty here.

1. anyone can change their title to col or any other clan that has not been imped yet. Clans can't force a person to change their title but an AS can certainly refuse to group with them and should.

2. The code is still lacking when it comes to mc's, we need a way for mcs to be incog without actually beong incog, currently the only class that tends to go incog is mcs. Also the old who commands need to be removed.

3. I don't encourage same side pk due to our low numbers, clan vs clan is fine but beyond that newer players will end up being hurt the most.

4. Should we warrant mcs who channel in front of justice clan members? I don't have an answer to this one, we have to consider how small our world is, an mc exping is always only a few zones away from a justice clan city. I think a good compromise would be to warrant mcs who weave in pk and are seen by a justice clan member.

Like Avaine said. Why would you warrant MCs? They don't taint.

Using the same argument trolls don't taint either, so why attack them?

Of course this isn't wotmud, because the name is BharK and not BharQ, sorry to burst your bubble. And when the hell have I said this WAS wotmud?

Having said that, I tend to return gear, but not when some ill-tempered kid logs his ds char and starts going like 'Bhark get the f**k out of room' and demanding his gear which I clearly dropped infront of him (which he admitted, and yes, I did have Gnaa with me. I don't blame him for having a bad day RL (or so he claims) but I guess I don't care about that.

I was as good as eqless, I logged back naked, grabbed myself some crap and noob dagger from chest. And unfortunately, your guys had slightly better gear than the crap I took out of chest.

And I know how cool it sounds so say 10kills but I'm sorry that's not the point.

"this isn't wormud" means "don't be a twat" - dont horde eq, dont use a newbie to loot and rent for other side, dont cry about rp on forums evry time you die, don't be a dick, etc. - all things that happen on wotmud, and which won't get you very far in any other place than wotmud. Sooner you learn tha the better for you.

I'm not *arguing* with you and if you failed to see what the original question was after 2 posts, then you should have your eyes checked and not blindly guess what you're reading. And what part of me login on naked and being in a crap set don't you understand? Trying to reeq yourself is suddenly 'eq hording' now?
