Since when does 230 defense get hit through by almost every weapon in the game?

That's a good question. Things must have changed for dodge, because I got completely owned with my set (pulling 113 db) by Guerrero the other day. He landed lik 18/20 bashes :D

What are you talking about, Cifon? I missed a bash on you...

You're right though.. Dodge seems really weak at the moment.

Lithium was only pulling 102 db. My issue is that I was getting hit unbashed by several of you by yourselves.

Just bad luck, Guerrero zerked on me twice with that thing and ended up dead both times. Only difference was I made sure to dismount him first.

Actually, from what I've seen, the spiked axe is the only properly balanced bashing weapon in the game...

Bad luck? He did it consitently to about 6/8, it would have evened out to about 75% landing rate. I would expect that with 90 db, but 113 cant buff a poorly equiped abser? Compared to other weapons, spiked cant bash at all. I shudder to imagine how it stands compared to a steel club. Of course, I dont believe a dodger should be able to buff an abser (I think landing with a high lb weapon on top sets 20% of the time is perfect), but thats kinda bad.

There has to be other factors then. Against me, with 102 db, he was landing about 1/5 brave dismounted, and maybe 2/5 mounted. Dismounted it was an even fight, mounted he would have won. I kill his horse, he goes berserk, he then misses about 50 bashes and lands 1 between two fights.

I haven't had anywhere near that success rate against another weapon. 2h swords, axes, clubs, they all tear me to pieces. Most will even hit me unbashed at a decent rate. Nothing is more frustrating than having a stab broken because someone with a second tier weapon hits you through mid-end dodge.
