Recent PK Trends

I would like to comment on something that I have recently noticed involving pk. This is coming from both my alts on LS and DS. What is with the recent refusal of trollocs to come to more neutral territory? I speak of gap or NE of FD. It is rediculous that trollocs refuse to come south, but then as soon as there is one raider they all hop on a train and smash him.

Seriously, Ive done it before on my trolloc too. Its just straight retarded. Stop trying to go for easy kills by trapping humans who promote pk in blight. Stop pretending your busy exping, afking, or just goofing around until you hear "on xxx blight." That is all.

Chase you have to also take into account who is online, for most of the day ds had gurtha, racyn, tweak, crunch along with myself and phantasm. YOu guys had you, sonea, jaina, khan, kiril, and a few others. Periodically we would get a random player that knows zones but usually they were just scouting, so for the most part we had mostly newbies. So when you come north with your group of 3 skilled pkers do you actually think we will hit?

This an age old problem when we have numbers, both sides want a favorable zone to pk in, and both sides don't want to get ganked.
Some people are overly aggressive and push the enveloped to far as you do chase by raiding blight solo when you know there are several troll on.

I know you are only trying to encourage pk, but maybe if you let the pk come to you and don't force it this wouldn't be an issue.

I've noticed the same thing, but I just wanted a chance to defend my personal actions recently...

My link has been god-awful, with little patches of clean connection followed by minutes or even hours of lagged wonderment.... I can still function, but PK is nearly impossible. I remember trying to PK most of the time in it, and basically just watching myself flee around and die.

I'm always for fighting on other people's turf, I'm in and out of FD more than average, I'd say. Just recently if you've noticed me punking out or dying to charges and the like, now you know why. :)

side note, I have been pking conservatively due to a combination of bad luck and eq mongers, I've lost 3 full sets in 3 days. One set due to a crash and two sets because people took it. I'm not complaining, it's a valid part of pk but since I don't take any eq from pk and smob to reequip I tend to think on the paranoid side. :P

I agree with Obould. It is a valid part of pk. But, this "i MIGHT return some eq..." needs to end. Either return 100% of what you don't need, or nothing at all. That being said, I also have no reason to complain about losing my set(s) in the last couple days, weather it be to my own lag, or to me just making stupid moves while trying to run away, or just being outclassed, i was beaten, plain and simple. But in order for a no return policy, either one of two things needs to happen:

A: Up load percentages on decent equipment, and make more of an array of equipment load on each smob.
Example: Skeleton King currently loads (most of the time) an axe of some sort, a relatively decent abs kit and a black ring or onyx amulet (or both). Make him load a club on % and up the % of a nice kit popping on him.

B: Make more smobs to load the eq that we can't get to. With growing numbers, it's going to be close to impossible for trollocs to hit Yurian for a small diamond earring or Gal'di'mal'nor for her cuendillar bracelet or a dagger, neither of the two trinks have i ever seen load on a blight smob, and lately it seems that Blight Scout is loading staves in place the of daggers. And i have yet to see a good club load on a blight smob, which is what i'm pracced for currently. This all making it difficult to re-eq into a pkable set for either side, LS or DS.

I can not claim to be even close to a good pker, but normally i can get away then things hit the fan. But what about those who i can completely ruin? How are they going to re-eq after their gear is lost in PK? More PK?

Not sure why this got off track but...

I dont see why there is any need to keep eq. There is usually more than enough eq in dumps, the ground, etc. There is no reason to keep sets just to store or in spite of someone.

It's not off track at all, we are discussing a new trend of trolls not fighting in neutral zones and I have given ample reasons for such behavior. This game is about gain, if gain is not achieved ulterior actions will be taken to achieve said gain.

Dominated by the large, iron bound gates to the north, this stone courtyard is

Part 2!

At the Battered Western Gates
Twin oaken gates tower above, they seem to creak at every gust of wind. Stone
bulwarks provide extra defense on the battered gates. Lights hang all along
