How many unique/rare weapons are in the game currently?

Answer:
heron, lion-etched, clear glass, crazy 2h dagger, couple more?

How many are in play?

Answer:
Lion-etched......and Lith hardly uses it...

Where are all the other unique/rares?

Answer:
Lying dormant on someone's characters that haven't been played in months, if not years...


lets make the game more fun, and put the uniques/rares on chars that actually play frequently? I left WoTmud because of "eq hoarders," they are the people who rarely die in pk, but for some reason they have 30+ herons, 15+ shocklances, 10+full dodge/combo kits and matching trinks all on storage, when they never die anyway....i feel it really removes a lot of fun from the game if one person has all the unique/rare stuff.

Maybe we could have a tournament of people who've logged on more than twice (used for example) in the last year (again used for example) to see who deserves what...would be a blast, would get unique/rare equipment back in play, and would get more people to log on!

And of course i expect this suggestion to be shot down by the people who HAVE the unique/rare equipment...i mean, WHEN the bother to play, they want to still have everything... the whole 2 hours a month...what about those who play 15+ hours a week? If you're the best of the best, then you should have no problem getting said items back, no?

Gerry has the two handed daggers and he has the most recent kill on the legend list. Malaki has the two handed heron and he also has a recent kill on the legend list. Norum has the one handed heron and he hasn't fought anyone for a while. Lamgwin has the unique club but when he has tried to pk lately, some person just ran in and rented.

The weapons that can be smithed are being changed to where they are either the best or a close second in their weapon class. I'd suggest that if you are putting in 15+ hours a week, you could do some mining and end up getting yourself a pretty neato weapon.

There should be multiple lion etched in the game, although the only one I currently know of is wielded by my Borderguard. I gave one glass dagger to some random lowbie the day I made master and haven't seen him since, Ziggy had the other one but I'm pretty sure he lost it before he deleted. Everything else is probably on Lamgwin's alts

any more eq hoarders i should know about?

Been a while since ice played but when i did play alot i really wished i could get a heron blade cause i have put most of my practices into weapon mastery
