That's a little harsh phan, everyone doesn't have the same morals and opinions as one another. Everything is perspective, there are no absolute rights and wrongs.

Are you saying I don't pk? Because last time I checked I pk every single time I log onto this mud (unless I only have a few minutes)

Its not about desire, or lack of desire to pk. Its just that looting me frustrates me. I don't loot people, and all I ask is they don't loot me. (uniques are excluded of course) If people dont loot me when I die, I have much more reason to continue pking people. Maybe its just because I am a noob who sucks at pk, but I die about 50% of the time I go out. If I was looted every time I died, I wouldn't be able to pk as much.

Call me an idiot, call me an idealist...but it seems more fun to me to operate this way.

I'm sorry, Callisto, that was a dick thing to say, I do understand where you're coming from, I'm in the same boat as you... I die all the time when I PK, probably an average of more than once for every time I log on and spend a lot of time PKing. It does suck to lose gear, I totally agree with you. My point that I wanted you to grasp is that there is an established order of acceptable conduct on the MUD, and looting a slain opponent to improve one's kit is beyond question totally acceptable.

It pretty much comes down to getting used to it... it always sucks to lose gear, but you'll be accustomed to it, you'll deal with it, and eventually you'll be able to loot someone that you kill and improve your kit once again. It really isn't so bad to PK in less than top trinks, it's only a difference of a few points of defense to be outfitted in less-than-best stuff, which is easy to come by. So don't worry about it so much... it happens, can't change it, gotta deal with it as best you can.
