btw this hasn't been an I hate Barf thread, it's been me trying to encourage barf to change his pk style because he doesn't realize his true potential, and also my trying to make whom ever killed me LD to try and act fucking right considering we have such a small pbase.

I actually think barf wants to be ballsy, he just hasn't learned how or when to apply it yet. He's getting there though, I've seen him pull some things that are pretty skillful. Yeah, he runs to patties a lot, but everyone has had those times in their pk career. He needs to learn how to use patties and smaller mob groups properly, that's all.

I knew that if I stayed I would have died (I hade 79 hps when I originally fled to 1e of where we were and then only 12-30 at patty) If I would have hit you one missed bash would have killed me, and my bashes aren't reliable enough to ensure that one would land. And I don't like getting kills like that at patties.

Barf, you are a full dodger. Regardless of what lamgwin says he's totally illiterate on the setups that you use apparently. You are hard as shit to melee, and if I didn't have a much higher defense than you, and the ability to weave, then i couldn't ever beat you.

If you went up against any normal abser or comboer then as long as you played better than them there is no way they could beat you one on one. When I just attacked you at patrol I took a risk knowing that at batt I would die if you bashed me. I actually mistyped an alias and ended up getting bashed and dying. There wasn't much else you could have done in that situation.

I will point out however, that this game is fairly balanced in that you have to choose one strength over the other. You can either bash and do mega dmg, or you can do fairly decent bash and dodge most other melee hits. You can't have both. You've chosen a setup that will rule against absers and comboers, but can't defeat channelers unless you play it really super smart. You have around 300 defense, which is good and allows you to beat other classes. But to get that defense you sacrifice your ability to bash with great consistency. The key is learning your set up and how to play it. If you want to beat me one on one you either have to change your setup, or get a unique or a remort.

barf, i want you to pay attention here. this is nyoga saying in his own words that you don't stand a chance of beating him outside of patties. that he mistyped an alias, and would probably have killed if not for that. so they're complaining about you, when you're doing what you have to do in order to be competent against dodge channelers. it's really quite funny.
