They are hardly quick getaways. To use a porting mob, you can't have no quit, which means not being touched for 5 minutes. 5 minutes is a long time on this game, if you can stay untouched for that long you probably have time to rest to enough moves to run anyway.

Do you not understand the 5 minute no quit part? Unless you kill your oponent you won't be porting back.
