The trade skill 'Mixing' has been implemented and can now be leveled up.

• Players wishing to learn the skill can learn it at the tradesmen just like the other trades.
  Mixing allows players to create vials with varying effects.
  To mix a vial, a player must know the recipe for it. You can view your known recipes by looking through your recipe book via the command 'recipes'.
  Recipes can be recovered from smobs and purchased from alchemists, if they are for sale. Quests with recipe rewards will be implemented shortly.
  Once the ingredients for a recipe are collected and placed in a small glass vial, players will need to get the vial filled the rest of the way from an alchemist before mixing.
  Players can pour a vial out using the command 'pour vial out'.
  Players can combine recipe pieces by using the command 'combine' at an alchemist.
  Players may learn recipes before they have aquired enough skill to mix the vial the recipe details.

A quest has been added to the alchemists in Keep and Fal Dara that may help you mixers get off the ground running. Expect more quests, coming soon!

The price to combine the pieces of your recipes has been changed. Instead of a flat 5 gold per piece in your hands, the new rate is 5 gold per piece being added. A few examples below:


You want to combine:

2 bits into 1 fragment = 5 gold
3 bits into 1 piece = 10 gold
4 bits into 1 sheet = 15 gold

1 fragment and 1 bit into 1 piece = 5 gold
1 fragment and 2 bits into 1 sheet = 10 gold

1 piece and 1 bit into 1 sheet = 5 gold



Moral of the story - It no longer hurts you to combine the pieces as you go, instead of waiting till you have all the pieces to form a full sheet before combining.
