TestMUD

We have a copy of the new code running under an awesome debugger, valgrind. The test MUD is located at roysjosh.user.msu.edu 4000. If it's down, it may be a while before I have some free time to fix the bug and bring it back up.

It's more likely that your school has a proxy that only allows HTTP traffic. Mine does. To find out, try a telnet client (sounds like you have), then open a web browser and type "http://kinslayer.mine.nu:2222" into the browser address bar. The telnet should fail, and the browser should succeed. If ...

This should be fixed after next reboot/crash .. .. ..

Anyway, the problem was when more than one person was engaged, as in your look you may have noticed that the fade was fighting no one. The code disengaged Vincent and the trolloc, the victim and the killer, but it didn't look for anyone else ...
